Batman continues to be one of the biggest, most famous and legendary action heroes of our time. Batman started in DC comics several decades ago and has since had multiple tv shows, cartoons and of course movie blockbusters where Batman as played by major Hollywood hitters like George Clooney, Michael Keaton and the latest starring Christian Bale as Batman in the Dark Knight trilogy. People fascination with Batman is not unlike the general fascination with action heroes, like Superman, and Spiderman, but Batman holds a special appeal for not only children but adults as well. Batman action figures, Batmobiles and other toys, including Batman series villain action figures, like The Joker and Penguin are huge collector items, with some selling for thousands of dollars. At Comic Con International every year Batman gets a special display, where life size Batman action figures sells of $15,000. There is little doubt that most any Batman toy is an investment, and besides that children just love Batman toys and here are some great discount deals.

Best Answer Probably the Dark Knight Movie Master figures. They're more aimed at adults, but they are very accurate to the movie and are articulated very well also. The chase figures from this line are worth a good amount, but I collect them because I like them- if they happen to gain in value, that's just another plus :-)

Should he keep them in the boxes or can he play with them. He is 6 and asked me because his friends were telling him he should not open them. If they are, are they only valuable now or will they be valuable in the future? Thanks.
Best Answer No. Too many people are saving toys these days for them to be worth anything in the future. In the future the only toys that will be worth a bit are variants, exclusives or the toy lines collected only by little children and that are opened and played with(and those you will need to wait until the kids grow up and get nostalgic for their childhoods). SW, Batman, GIJoe, Transformers, Indiana Jones, etc.. very little price increase in the future do to so many saved by collectors In the long term Power Rangers would perform better.
